NASDAQ Board Of Directors Announces New Employment Contract With President And CEO Robert Greifeld

The Board of Directors of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that it has approved the terms and conditions of a new employment contract for NASDAQ President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Greifeld. Mr. Greifeld and the Board have mutually agreed that Mr. Greifeld's contract will extend through December 31, 2010. The in-place contract ends in May of 2007. Mr. Greifeld, 49, joined NASDAQ in May 2003.
NYSE Announces Quarterly Changes To The NYSE Family Of Indexes

Both Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will be closed for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26, 2006. The exchanges will also be closed on Monday, January 1, 2007 for New Years Day. Both exchanges will have regular trading hours on Friday, December 22 and Friday December 29, 2006. The last day for trading to settle in 2006 will be Friday, December 22, 2006.

SEC: Further Relief From The Section 404 Requirements For Smaller Companies And Newly Public Companies

The Commission is adopting an extension proposed in August to further postpone the date by which smaller public companies must comply with the internal control reporting requirements mandated by Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Previously, non-accelerated filers (companies that do not meet the Exchange Act definition of either an accelerated filer or a large accelerated filer) were scheduled to begin including both management's assessment and an auditor's attestation to management'

The Chicago Board Options Exchange said today that the CBOE S&P 500 BuyWrite Index, "BXM," reached an all-time high closing price of 800.43 on Thursday, December 14th. This was the first time ever that the Index closed above 800.

The Executive Committee (EXCO) of Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa) has decided to replace Pantai Holdings Berhad with Media Prima Berhad as a component stock of the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) following the eventual delisting of Pantai Holdings Berhad from the Official List of Bursa Securities pursuant to paragraph 8.15 (5) and (6) of the Listing Requirements.
