New York Stock Exchange Suspends Trading And Moves To Delist Refco Inc.

The New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) announced today that it determined that the common stock of Refco Inc. (the "Company") –ticker symbol RFX – should be suspended immediately. Trading in the common stock has been halted since October 13, 2005 as the NYSE was evaluating the need for further disclosure and the continued listing of the Company.

NASDAQ President And CEO To Visit China - Bob Greifeld To Meet With Business Leaders And Speak At Tsinghua University In Beijing

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ; NASDAQ: NDAQ) President and CEO Bob Greifeld will visit China beginning November 28. Among other events, Mr. Greifeld will deliver an address at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing on November 30. NASDAQ officials will also tour Tsinghua’s Science Park, a university park dedicated to fostering innovation and development of intellectual property.

NASD Fines Instinet And INET ATS $1,475,000 For Inaccurate Execution Quality Reports, Inadequate Supervision And Other Violations

NASD announced today that it has ordered Instinet, LLC and INET ATS, Inc. (formerly known as The Island ECN, Inc.) to pay $1.475 million for rule violations relating to publication of inaccurate reports on order execution quality, backing away from the firm's posted quotes, failure to report orders, improper "last sale" or trade reporting, supervision and other areas. CBOT Holdings Prices Initial Public Offering Of Class A Common Stock

CBOT Holdings, Inc., holding company for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®), announced today the initial public offering of 3,191,489 shares of Class A common stock at a price of $54.00 per share. The company is selling 2,940,486 shares, and 251,003 shares will be sold by existing stockholders. CBOT Holdings has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 478,723 shares at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.

Average daily volume on BOX for the first two weeks of October is 442,991 contracts, an increase of 43.0% over the first half of September 2005 and of 166.5% over the comparable period in 2004. The ADV for the period is the highest BOX has achieved over a ten day period.
