Deutsche Börse Supervisory Board Supports Negotiations With Euronext

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse in its ordinary meeting on March 30 welcomed the decision of the Executive Board to enter into concrete negotiations with Euronext NV on a potential combination of the two companies. The Supervisory Board shares the views outlined by the Executive Board in its public communication on the cornerstones of such a merger of partners.

Deutsche Börse Supervisory Board Appoints Andreas Preuss To Executive Board - Preuss Will Also Become New Eurex CEO

On Thursday, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG appointed Andreas Preuss as Member of the Executive Board effective 1 April 2006. Preuss will assume responsibility for Trading and Clearing Services. It is intended that he will also take over the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Eurex companies.
