SEC: Visiting Academic Scholar Appointed To The Office Of Economic Analysis

The Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Economic Analysis today announced the appointment of Dr. Duane J. Seppi as a Visiting Academic Scholar for a term ending in August 2006. Dr. Seppi is currently a Full Professor of Financial Economics at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ® : NDAQ) today announced a new trading record in NYSE-listed stocks for Friday, March 24, 2006. NASDAQ's matched market share in NYSE-listed securities rose to a single day high of 10.03%, representing an approximate 43% percent spike in NASDAQ's matched market share. HKEx Readies CBBC Market Infrastructure And Invites Issuers To List CBBC From June

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) is planning to roll out the market infrastructure for the listing, trading, clearing and settlement of Callable Bull / Bear Contracts (CBBC) on the Stock Exchange in June this year. HKEx now invites issuers wishing to issue CBBC in June to submit draft documentation for review no later than 2 May.

Euronext.liffe Adds 32 Delivery Ports To Its White Sugar Futures Contract

Euronext.liffe, the international derivatives business of Euronext, today announced it will add 32 new delivery ports to its White Sugar Futures contract. In total, the contract will provide for delivery through a global network of 86 ports spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
