Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For August 2006

The index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange reached 9,670 points at the end of August, an increase of 243 points from the closing value at the end of July. The weighted index reached 502.7 points at the end of August, an increase of 16.7 points from the closing value at the end of July.

The French investment firm, Exane S.A., joined Wiener Börse AG a new trading member as of today. Exane S.A. is the fifth international member to be linked as a direct trading member to Wiener Börse this year.
