FORTS: Trading Volume On Futures On Gold Exceeded 24,5 Thousand Contracts

During September 11, 2006 trading session of FORTS the previous futures trading record on gold was exceeded. By the end of the day the trading volume in futures on gold reached almost 24,6 thousand contracts and 393,9 mln RUR which is a record value. The previous record was registered on August the 30th, when, according to the trading session results, the trading volume reached 22 thousand contracts or 360,1 mln RUR.

A senior delegation from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) will be holding talks with key decision makers from the Australian financial community and the Australian government to discuss opportunities for companies in establishing a presence in Dubai and the DIFC. Deutsche Börse: Schering To Leave DAX As Scheduled Effective 18 September - Postbank To Replace Schering As Announced - Schering To Be Excluded From Selection Indices

Deutsche Börse will take Schering out of the DAX index and include Deutsche Postbank effective 18 September as scheduled. However, Schering will not move to MDAX as originally decided on September 5, because the company is below the free-float threshold of five percent following the takeover by Bayer. Deutsche Börse made the announcement on Tuesday following Bayer’s confirmation on 9 September that it had acquired more than 95 percent of Schering’s capital.
