Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The unitholders of Esprit Energy Trust (TSX:EEE.UN) have approved the merger with Pengrowth Energy Trust (TSX:PGF.UN). Esprit Energy Trust will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Capped Energy and Capped Energy Trust and the S&P/TSX Income Trust indices. Euronext.liffe: Trading Hours For EURIBOR Futures To Cover Asian Trading Day

Euronext.liffe, the derivatives business of Euronext, announced today that it intends to extend the trading hours for its benchmark Euribor interest rate futures to incorporate the Asian trading day. Trading will commence six hours earlier at 01:00 hours London time. The change in trading hours is due to come into effect late Q2 2007.

In September 2006, turnover on SWX and virt-x amounted to CHF 141.7 billion, 22 % higher than in August. Compared to September of last year, trading activity increased by 12.5 %.
