  • NYSE Member Firms Report Third-Quarter 2006 Results

    New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported third-quarter 2006 after-tax profits of $2.64 billion and revenue of $81.76 billion, compared to $1.82 billion in after-tax profits on revenue of $61.13 billion in the third quarter of 2005. Year-to-date revenue was $237.96 billion, versus $163.67 billion in the comparable 2005 period.

  • CME Euroyen Contracts To Trade On CME Globex(R)

    CME, the world's largest and most diverse financial exchange, today announced that it plans to list its CME Euroyen futures and options on futures contracts on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.     Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The shareholders of International Uranium Corporation (TSX:IUC) and Denison Mines Ltd.     During a trading session on December 5, 2006 RTS Index got over a psychologically important border line of 1800 points and reached the maximum points ever – 1824,60 points. The previous RTS Index record was set during the trading session on May 10th. On that day RTS Index reached 1795 points.

    Yatra Capital Limited, an Indian property fund based in Jersey, was listed on Euronext Amsterdam today. Yatra, which aims to create value for investors through the ownership, development and operation of high-quality property on Indian commercial and retail markets, raised EUR 100 million through a placement with an introductory price of EUR 10 a share.
