  • August 2007 Monthly Preliminary Performance Report Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Indexes

    The Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Index was down 4.66% for the month of August. The Dow Jones-AIG Single Commodity Indexes for Wheat, Corn, and Soybean had the strongest gains with month-to-date returns of 14.33%, 4.76% and 0.87%, respectively. The worst three performing single commodity indexes were Nickel, Zinc, and Cotton, which were down 12.59%, 11.33%, and 10.09% respectively, in August.
