The Financial Information Services Division of the Software and Information Industry Association (FISD) today announces the release of Best Business Practices for billing and invoicing for the financial information industry. The adoption of these recommendations will enhance the efficiency of these processes for data providers, data vendors and data end-user customers.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed insider trading charges against a former Oracle Corporation vice president who allegedly traded on confidential information about Oracle acquisition targets gleaned from his spouse, who was also employed by Oracle. The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 21 May 2007 (Monday), 29 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 14 existing designated securities will be removed from the list.
