TSX Group: Victoria Day Holiday Closures

Both Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange will be closed for Victoria Day on Monday, May 21. Both exchanges will re-open for business on Tuesday, May 22, 2007.

CFTC Proposes Order Exempting Credit Default Products From Applicable Provisions Of The CEA

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is proposing to exempt the trading and clearing of certain credit default options and credit default basket options from applicable provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA). These products are proposed to be traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and cleared by the Options Clearing Corporation.
