Tokyo Stock Exchange: JGB Futures Trading Volume Sets A Record High

The TSE is pleased to announce that on June 7 the trading volume of JGB Futures set a trading day record-high of 211,110 (100 million yen). One cause of the significant volume may be a rapid increase in transactions for rolling over positions as the last trading day for June 2007 is one day away.

CBOE To Launch Credit Default Options On Five Companies On Tuesday, June 19, 2007

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that it plans to launch Credit Default Options on five individual companies: General Motors Corporation (GM), Ford Motor Company (F), Lear Corporation (LEA), Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. (HOV) and Standard Pacific Corp. (SPF) on Tuesday, June 19, 2007. CBOE received regulatory approval yesterday from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list and trade Credit Default Options such as these, and approval for CBOE's Credit Default B

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, June 7, 2007: HSE Integrated Ltd. (TSXVN:HSL) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX and will trade under the same ticker symbol.

NYMEX To Change Margins For RBOB Gasoline, Related Futures Contracts

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Monday 11 June 2007: British Energy Group (United Kingdom, SEDOL: B04QKW5, GICS: Utilities, GICS Code: 55101010), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will increase to 1,026,607,000 following the conversion and sale of Nuclear Liabilities Fund Limited stake in British Energy Group.

TSX Group CEO Asks Market Participants If They Are Ready To Join The “TSX Quantum™ Revolution”
