Bradford & Bingley To Leave FTSE 100, Barratt Developments To Enter

FTSE Group confirms today that Bradford & Bingley will leave the FTSE 100 and be replaced by Barratt Developments. Bradford & Bingley leaves the FTSE 100 after rejoining in September 2006.

London Metal Exchange Modification Of Lending Guidance

The Special Committee has decided to modify the lending guidance in respect of those with nickel positions by introducing new levels at which the holder(s) of dominant long positions are required to lend nickel. This modification shall apply in relation to nickel positions with effect from 0001hrs on 7 June 2007 until further notice. The application of the existing Lending Guidance in relation to all other metals is unaffected.

Citigroup Global Markets To Pay Over $15 Million To Settle Charges Relating To Misleading Documents And Inadequate Disclosure In Retirement Seminars, Meetings For BellSouth Employees - NASD Fines Citigroup $3 Million, Orders $12.2 Million In Restitution T

NASD announced today that it has fined Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., $3 million to settle charges relating to the use of misleading materials in retirement seminars and meetings for BellSouth employees in North Carolina and South Carolina. NASD also ordered Citigroup to pay approximately $12.2 million in restitution to more than 200 former BellSouth employees.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces May Volume

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that equity option volume in May rose 22.81% when 29,951,482 contracts compared to the same year-ago period when 24,387,765 contracts traded. Equity option volume in May increased 15.98% compared the previous month when 25,824,063 contracts traded.

NYSE Euronext Launches Statutory Buy-Out Procedure For Remaining Euronext N.V. Shares

Euronext N.V. announced that today its majority shareholder, NYSE Euronext (Holding) N.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), has commenced the statutory buy-out procedure under Dutch law. The requisite writ of summons was issued by a bailiff upon the remaining minority shareholders of Euronext N.V. These shareholders jointly hold approximately 2% of Euronext N.V. shares.
