Lyxor Licensed To Use FTSE JSE Top 40 For New ETF

Global index provider, FTSE Group (FTSE) and the JSE, Africa’s premier exchange, today announce that they have licensed Lyxor Asset Management (Lyxor) to use the large cap FTSE JSE Top 40 Index as the basis of an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) to be listed on Euronext Paris today. NYBOT Volume Tops 400,000 Contracts For First Time

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace and soft commodity exchange, announced that its New York Board of Trade (NYBOT) subsidiary today exceeded the 400,000 contract mark for the first time, setting a new daily volume record with 407,150 contracts traded. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange Berhad hits record high for Crude Palm Oil Futures (FCPO) open interest at 101, 536 contracts on Friday, 8 June 2007; and 101,525 on Monday, 11 June 2007. The increase of open interest in excess of 100,000 is an important milestone which showed the increasing outstanding contract established by the market players.
