Liffe Launches Futures On Indices Of Real Estate Companies

Liffe today announced that on 1 October 2007 it will launch on the Paris derivatives market two futures contracts on indices that track the performance of European real estate companies. The two new futures contracts are based on the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Europe Index (EPRA) and the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Euro Zone Index (EPEU) which are seen as benchmarks in Europe for investments in listed real estate companies.

Nordic Growth Market (NGM) Offers MiFID Services

From November 1 Nordic Growth Market, a Swedish exchange, will launch new services in order to help resolve the requirements raised in the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), which will take effect on the same date. This will include a new price structure focused on improving the business efficiency of the members.

Chicago Stock Exchange Announces Record Volume In August 2007

The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) today announced that in August 2007 the Exchange enjoyed its highest monthly trading volumes since the February 2007 launch of the new CHX trading model. CHX's average daily volume for August was almost 40 million shares, with a daily high of 54.5 million shares.

China Financial Services Market-Access Resolution Supported By SIFMA

ICE Futures U.S. Extends Electronic Trading Hours for Russell Indexes and USDX(R) Futures Contracts

ICE Futures U.S., Inc. (formerly the New York Board of Trade), a wholly-owned subsidiary of IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), announced today that, effective at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 6, 2007, it will extend the electronic trading hours for its Russell Indexes and US Dollar Index(R) (USDX) futures contracts to 6:00 p.m. ET. Currently the electronic trading day for these contracts ends at 4:15 p.m. ET.
