SEC Small Business Forum To Focus On Recent Rule Proposals For Smaller Companies

The Securities and Exchange Commission will hold its annual Forum on Small Business Capital Formation on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, beginning at 9:00 a.m., Eastern, at the Commission's Washington, D.C., headquarters. This year's small business forum will focus on recent SEC rule proposals addressing securities registration and disclosure requirements for smaller companies.

In November 2006, Oslo Børs, VPS and VPS Clearing signed up to the agreement that established a European standard for clearing and settlement of trading in securities (the European Code of Conduct for Clearing and Settlement). Oslo Børs, VPS and VPS Clearing are now extending their agreement to apply also to derivatives.
