    The Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Economic Analysis today announced the appointment of two Visiting Academic Scholars and two Economic Fellows. The Visiting Academic Scholars are Dr. Scott Bauguess and Dr. Josh White, who will each be serving one-year terms ending in August 2008. The Economic Fellows are Dr. Daniel Aromi and Dr. Yoon-Ho Alex Lee, who will be serving two-year term appointments.

    New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported second-quarter 2007 after-tax profits of $2.75 billion and revenues of $95.24 billion, compared with $2.948 billion in after-tax profits on revenues of $78.635 billion in the second quarter of 2006.
