Bhd. today enhanced its settlement service to its Clearing Participants with the introduction of Central Matching Facility (CMF), an automated settlement system which is centralised on Bursa Malaysia’s settlement infrastructure. The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ(r)) (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced its 2007 listings statistics. NASDAQ attracted more initial public offerings (IPOs) last year than any other U.S. exchange. Of the 237 IPOs that were eligible to list on NASDAQ or the NYSE Group last year, NASDAQ listed 154, or 65 percent.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today its December volumes and performance figures for 2007, which included several volume records. PHLX finished 2007 as the third largest exchange in the U.S., measured by equity options contracts traded. The Exchange also had the fourth highest equity options volume traded worldwide, as reported in FI Magazine based on figures through September 2007.

NYSE MatchPoint Rules Approved By SEC - Trading Scheduled To Begin On January 22nd

NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) today announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the rules for NYSE MatchPoint, a new, portfolio-based, point-in-time electronic facility of the New York Stock Exchange that matches aggregated orders at predetermined sessions throughout regular hours and after hours of the Exchange. MatchPoint will trade securities listed on all major and regional U.S. stock exchanges. It is expected to begin operation on January 22, 2008.
