The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) announced today that it will soon publish an update to the “Standard Requirements for Delivery on Settlements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae Securities,” also known as the “Good Delivery Guidelines.” The guidelines detail a number of market practice standards developed over the last three decades regarding To-Be-Announced (TBA) trading of Mortgage-backed Securities (MBS) pools issued by Government Sponsored Enterprises

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox today announced the launch of the “Financial Explorer” on the SEC Web site to help investors quickly and easily analyze the financial results of public companies. Financial Explorer paints the picture of corporate financial performance with diagrams and charts, using financial information provided to the SEC as “interactive data” in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).

Warsaw Stock Exchange: Investors’ Share In Exchange Trading - Summary Of 2007

At a press conference on 14 February, the WSE presented the latest statistics of the participation of investor groups in trading on the stock exchange in 2007. In the equity market, domestic institutional investors had the largest share in trading in 2007; in the options and futures market, individual investors had the largest share. CME Group To Waive Fees For S&P 400 MidCap Equity Index Contracts

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, announced that CME Globex(R) and clearing fees will be waived for all S&P MidCap 400(R) and E-mini(R) S&P MidCap 400 Index futures and options on futures for all market participants. The waivers will go into effect March 3, 2008, and continue through December of this year. The waivers in the S&P MidCap 400 products are similar to the fee waivers for the S&P SmallCap 600(R) products already in place.
