  • Trading Volumes On The Spanish Exchange Reached €182.76 Bn In January, 33% Up On The Year

    MEFF trading reached 5,689,680 contracts in January, up 140% from the same month last year. Highlights include Stock Futures, with 2,472,529 contracts and a 505% year on year increase, and IBEX 35 Options, with 893,565 contracts and a 141% rise relative to January 2007. Growth on the ETF segment increased seven-fold compared to January 2007. Trading volume on the Corporate Debt market in January came in at €116.78 bn, 14% up from the same month in 2007.

  • OMX: January - Records In Derivatives Market And Number Of Trades In Share Trading

    January saw a record in number of trades for the share trading at the Nordic Exchange. On January 22, the number of trades amounted to 422,474 (previous record: 371,219 trades on August 9, 2007). Record figures in number of trades were also recorded for the month, reaching 267,511 trades per day (previous record: 234,070 trades per day in November, 2007). On January 2008 the average number of trades is up 61% compared to January 2007.

The new web page complements the current communication channels of formal announcements and public consultation papers.

  • HKEx Announces Revised Policy On Suspensions Following Main Board Issuers' Publication Of Announcements With Price Sensitive Information

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced today (Friday) changes to its policy of suspending a Main Board issuer's listed securities following the publication of an announcement containing price sensitive information (PSI) and minor Listing Rule amendments to allow PSI to be published in a more timely manner.  The policy changes and the amendments will be effective from 10 March 2008
