ETF Securities: Platinum And Precious Metal ETCs Continue To Shine In January

ETF Securities Limited, the global pioneer of exchange traded commodities (ETCs), has seen total Assets Under Management (AUM) grow in the past month by 32% to over $3.3 billion. Last week alone, ETF Securities experienced a record breaking month for AUM growth of $800 million. This demand has been a result of investors wanting to diversify their investment portfolio into other asset classes which exhibit low correlation to equities and bonds.

LCH.Clearnet is pleased to announce another record month for cleared volumes in its OTC Freight Forward Agreement (FFA) clearing service. Cleared volumes hit over 118,000 lots in January, representing an 18% increase over the previous record established in November 2007. Open interest now stands in excess of 185,000 lots.

NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX) today reported net income of $643 million, or $2.70 per diluted share, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2007, a $438 million, or 214%, increase as compared to net income of $205 million, or $1.36 per diluted share, for the year ended Dec. 31, 2006.
