Deutsche Börse Expands European Directors’ Dealings Information Offering To Include Seven More Countries - Data Available On Insider Transactions From 23 Countries

Deutsche Börse is expanding its European Directors’ Dealings (EDD) data service to include seven more countries. Verified and standardized data on insider transactions is now also available from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Portugal.

NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) today announces it has entered into Memorandum of Understanding agreements with Central Counterparty (CCP) clearing service providers SIX x-clear and EuroCCP in order to support a competitive clearing model on its Nordic markets.

World Federation of Exchanges Statement On IOSCO Short Selling Report

The World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) submitted its response to a March 2009 Consultation Report on the regulation of short selling issued by a task force of the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The report, produced in response to emergency short selling bans implemented on many markets last September, is expected to be acted upon by IOSCO at its annual conference in June.
