This new publication, “Asset-Liability Management Decisions for Sovereign Wealth Funds,” contains the results of the first-year research work conducted at EDHEC-Risk Institute within the Deutsche Bank research chair on asset-liability management (ALM) techniques for sovereign wealth fund management. Under the responsibility of Professor Lionel Martellini, the scientific director of EDHEC-Risk Institute, this chair examines optimal allocation policies for sovereign wealth funds.

Boerse Stuttgart Takes The Lead With Its <I>Bondm</I> SME Segment - Corporate Bonds With A Total Volume Of EUR 730 Million Listed In <I>Bondm</I> - Stuttgart Offers Transparency And Liquidity In The Secondary Market

Boerse Stuttgart has taken on a pioneering role among German stock exchanges. Its Bondm trading segment is specially designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. So far the Stuttgart Stock Exchange has admitted eight bonds with a total volume of EUR 730 million to its new SME segment.

Deutsche Börse Extends Entry Standard To Corporate Bonds - Simple And Cost-Effective Financing Alternative For Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises

Starting in 2011, businesses will also be able to place bonds on Deutsche Börse’s Entry Standard. For SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) in particular, the move will open up new means of financing, allowing them to use the segment to raise outside capital.

November 2010 Monthly Preliminary Performance Report Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Indexes

The Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index was down 1.47% for the month of November. The Dow Jones-UBS Single Commodity Indexes for Silver, Feeder Cattle and Lean Hogs had the strongest gains with month-to-date returns of 10.64%, 5.96%, and 5.58%, respectively. The three most significant downside performing single commodity indexes were Zinc, Corn and Sugar, which were down 11.15%, 10.31%, and 10.20% respectively, in November.
