IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global markets and clearing houses, announced today that it has applied to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to establish ICE Trade Vault Europe Limited (ICE Trade Vault Europe) as a Trade Repository (TR) for the reporting of swaps and futures trade data to meet requirements of the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For China Communications Construction Futures Contracts

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 3 April 2013, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

Bursa Malaysia Introduces New eRights Service For Investors - Another Initiative By Bursa Malaysia To Create A More Facilitative Trading Environment

Bursa Malaysia today announced the launch of eRights, bringing greater convenience and ease to investors by facilitating the electronic subscription and payment system when subscribing for Rights issue. As a result, individual shareholders will be able to subscribe for Rights issue via ATM and internet banking facility of participating banks, similar to the current practice for electronic IPO applications via Electronic Share Application (ESA).

Today, Bank Negara Malaysia hosted the fourth meeting of the Financial Stability Board (FSB) Regional Consultative Group for Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2011, six regional consultative groups of the FSB were established responding to the call of the G20 Leaders at the Toronto Summit (June 2010), to bring together financial authorities from FSB member and non-member countries to exchange views on vulnerabilities affecting financial systems and on initiatives to promote financial stability.
