Good morning, Rick, thank you for that kind introduction and for inviting me to speak at your annual conference. I appreciate the relationship that the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in working to bring transparency to markets and helping to protect the public. BM&FBOVESPA Registers A Record 195,703 Trades In The BM&F Segment
BM&FBOVESPA registered a record 195,703 trades in the BM&F segment in may 18th. The previous record was 195,239 trades on August 05, 2012. BM&FBOVESPA also registered a record number of trades in mini Ibovespa futures contracts in may 18th session at 127,152 (from the previous record of 124,844 on August 05, 2011) and a record 310,787 contracts traded (from the previous record of 277,185 on August 05, 2011).

DTCC’S Global Trade Repository To Open Data Centre In Singapore To Promote OTC Derivatives Reporting - Global Network Ensures Regulators Worldwide Have Seamless Access To Data For Systemic Risk Mitigation & Market Surveillance
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) Global Trade Repository announced today its intention to expand its operations into Singapore by establishing an Asian-based global data centre to ensure regulators have seamless access to data for systemic risk mitigation in over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives markets.

SWIFT: Lázaro Campos Announces He Will Step Down As CEO - Gottfried Leibbrandt Confirmed As Successor
SWIFT CEO Lázaro Campos has notified the Board of his intention to leave the company. After 25 years with the company, the last five of which were successful years as CEO, it is his intention to pursue opportunities outside SWIFT. Under his leadership, SWIFT embarked on an ambitious growth and transformational strategy (SWIFT2015), almost doubling volumes, maintaining excellent operational performance while successfully reducing costs by 30%, and prices by 50%.

Tribunal Upholds UK’s Financial Services Authority Decision To Ban And Fine Former UBS Advisers £1.3m For Not Being Fit And Proper In Relation To An Unauthorised Trading Scheme
The Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber) has directed the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to fine Sachin Karpe £1.25 million and Laila Karan £75,000 and ban them both from performing any role in regulated financial services for failing to act with integrity, in breach of Principle 1 of the FSA’s Statements of Principles and Code of Conduct for Approved Persons (“APER”) and for not being fit and proper persons.
