    The trading volume of stocks totalled RUB 0.7 trln in July. The average daily trading volume was RUB 30 bln, down 12% MoM. The T+2 sector made up 96% of the total secondary market trading volume and the T0 sector accounted for 4%.

  • UK's Financial Conduct Authority: Upper Tribunal Releases Its Judgment On Action Against Timothy Roberts And Andrew Wilkins

    The Upper Tribunal has released its judgment in relation to Timothy Roberts and Andrew Wilkins of Catalyst Investment Group Limited (“Catalyst”).  The Tribunal decided to impose a fine of £450,000 and to prohibit Mr Roberts from performing any role in regulated financial services. The Tribunal also decided to fine Mr Wilkins £50,000.  It referred back to the FCA a decision on whether to impose a prohibition on Mr Wilkins. It remains open to the parties to appeal the Tribunal’s judgment.

  • UK Prudential Regulation Authority Censures Co-operative Bank For Serious Risk Management And Transparency Failings

    Following an enforcement investigation into the Co-operative Bank Plc (Co-op Bank) the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), supported by a team of investigators at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has found that there were serious and wide-ranging failings in Co-op Bank’s control and risk management framework during the period from 22 July 2009 to 31 December 2013. The PRA has also found that the firm failed to deal with its regulators in an open and co-operative manner in that period.
