This spring marks the end of the Federal Reserve's calendar-based forward guidance and the return to full data dependency in the setting of the federal funds rate. So it is notable that just as policymaking is becoming more anchored in meeting-by-meeting assessments of the data, the data are presenting a mixed picture that lends itself to materially different readings.

Welcome to the second meeting of the Market Risk Advisory Committee, of which I serve as Sponsor. I would like to first thank the Chairman and my fellow commissioners for being here today; it has been great working with you on these issues. Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) informs that on June 2, 2015 took place the quarterly meeting of the Index Committee, for reviewing the BVB indices, where decided the maintenance of the composition for BET, BET-TR, BET-NG, BET-FI, BET-BK, BET-XT, BET-XT-TR and BET Plus indices and their quarterly adjustment.

Moscow Exchange announces trading volumes for May 2015. The Derivatives Market and FX Market posted the strongest growth, with volumes increasing 33% and 27% YoY, respectively. Secondary market turnover in bonds increased 12%.

Enterprise Data Management Council Releases Its First Formal Ontology Standard - FIBO Foundations Approved As Official OMG Standard

The Enterprise Data Management Council (EDM Council) received approval for FIBO Foundations as the first of thirty data content standards for the financial industry. The Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) is an open standard for defining the business terms and relationships associated with financial instruments, pricing concepts and financial processes. These “common language” standards are used to align the way financial institutions describe complex financial instruments and financial processes so that industry participants and regulators can harmonize reporting, validate data quality, aggregate transactions and analyze risks across the global financial system.
