Amsterdam Exchanges Introduction Of Traded-But-Not-Listed Category

As from August 15, 2000, the Dutch Daily Official List (Officiele Prijscourant) will publish details of prices and turnover for certain securities whose issuers have not concluded a listing agreement with Amsterdam Exchanges N.V. This information will be presented in a new "Verhandeling" (trades-but-not-listed) section.

Turnover The total turnover of securities on the Exchange amounted to SIT 125.87 billion in the first six months of 2000. It was almost SIT five billion higher than the value of securities traded during the same period in 1999. The average monthly turnover in the first half of the year thus reached SIT 20.98 billion. Monthly turnover during the whole year of 1999 was slightly above SIT 22 billion.
