NYBOT’s® NYFE And FINEX Trading Hours Affected By End of Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time in Europe and New York ends on October 29, 2000. Accordingly, the start of the New York evening trading sessions for the New York Board of Trade’s (NYBOT) FINEX and New York Futures Exchange (NYFE) divisions will revert to 7:00 p.m. and recess at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) beginning with the Sunday, October 29, 2000 evening session. During Daylight Savings time, the trading sessions began at 8:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m.

Iceland Will Transfer Its Shares And Bonds To Saxess On 30 October

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Barclays Global Investors (BGI) today announced that on October 27, 2000, a newly created exchange traded fund, the iSharesSM S&P 100® 100 Index Fund (CBOE symbol OEF) will trade on the CBOE. The iShares S&P 100 Index Fund is an exchange traded fund that seeks investment results which correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 100 Index®.
