Oslo Exchanges Share Offer Heavily Oversubscribed

The Board of Oslo Exchanges has today fixed the share price for the public offer of shares in Oslo Børs Holding ASA at NOK 95, which values Oslo Exchanges at NOK 475 million. The share offer attracted great interest, and applications were made for a total amount of NOK 1.6 billion. This represents an oversubscription of 3.2 times the number of shares offered. Oslo Exchanges Benchmark Index Comes Into Use On 23 May

Starting on Wednesday 23 May, the Oslo Exchanges Benchmark Index will be the new general index for shares listed on Oslo Exchanges. The new index will replace the old All Share Index as the most important reference index. Meeting Of The Board Of Oslo Exchanges On 22 May 2001

At a meeting held today, the Board of Oslo Exchanges resolved to admit shares in Statoil ASA to listing on the Main List. The same meeting resolved to admit shares in SAS AB to secondary listing on the Main List, and to admit Consorte Group ASA to a listing on the SMB List. The Board also resolved to remove two companies from listing.

Iceland Stock Exchange: Bloomberg Electronic Auction System

The National Debt Management Agency has after consulting with Authorised Dealers in Government Bonds decided that as of June 2001 all auctions will be held using the Bloomberg Electronic Auction System. Those who wish to submit bids will need access to a Bloomberg terminal and to apply to the National Debt Management Agency. It is possible to have only one Bloomberg terminal but several logins into the Bloomberg Electronic Auction System.

Record Turnover In EEX Spot Market: 55,231 MWh Traded

European Energy Exchange EEX set a new record in turnover on the spot market on Monday, with 55,231 MWh (megawatt hours) traded, the highest volume ever traded on an electricity exchange in Germany. The previous record in Germany was 53,862 MWh on May 17. A daily average of about 30,000 MWh are traded on the EEX spot market.
