CBOT Fed Funds Futures Volume Sets New High At 43,406 Contracts
The Chicago Board of Trade announced today that CBOT® members set a new daily volume record in the 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract yesterday, trading 43,406 contracts. The record was set on the day of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, at which the target federal funds interest rate is determined for the cash market.

Vincent Viola Elected Chairman NYMEX - Seven Others To Board Positions
The shareholders of the NYMEX Holdings, Inc., and the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today elected Vincent Viola by a margin of 476 to 115 as chairman of the board and the following individuals to other positions on the Exchange board of directors: Gordon Rutledge, Madeline Boyd, Gary Rizzi, J. Deutsche Börse Reports Record Profits Again In 2000 - Net Income For The Year Doubles To 146.3 Million Euros - 47 Percent Increase In Sales To 702.3 Million Euros
Deutsche Börse closed business year 2000 with record profits for another year in a row. The annual financial statements show net income without extraordinary earnings of 146.3 million euros, about 108 percent higher than the previous year's figure, with a 47 percent increase in sales to 702.3 million euros.
