    Oslo Børs is to introduce a new approach to the presentation of listed companies. With effect from 4 October, Oslo Børs will publish share price lists which divide listed companies into categories based on the liquidity of their shares. In addition Oslo Børs will introduce a scheme to identify companies that meet specific requirements for providing and distributing information by using an information symbol in the official lists published by the exchange.     The New York Stock Exchange Board of Directors has appointed two senior officers in its Regulation group, on the recommendation of Chief Regulatory Officer Richard G. Ketchum. The NYSE appointed Susan L. Merrill as executive vice president of Enforcement, effective in July; and promoted Robert A. Marchman to senior vice president of Enforcement, effective immediately.

    In October 2003 the law gave a company the option to decide that its shareholders may be given access to participate online in the company’s general meetings. A shareholder participating in an electronic general meeting can by means of electronic media, e.g. the Internet, attend, speak and vote at the general meeting, just as if he was physically present.
