Oslo Børs : Violation Charge For Kværner ASA

The Board of Oslo Børs has resolved to impose a violation charge of NOK 560,000 on Kværner ASA, equivalent to two times the company's annual listing fee. The charge is imposed in respect of a breach of the duty of disclosure that arose in connection with the company's liquidity situation in September 2001. Oslo Børs is of the view that Kværner was late in providing information to the market on its serious liquidity problems.

Meeting Of The Board Of Oslo Børs On 20 March 2002

At its meeting today the Board of Oslo Børs decided to impose a violation charge of NOK 560,000 on Kværner ASA for a breach of the duty of disclosure in respect of the company's liquidity situation in September 2001. The Board also resolved to admit shares in Q-Free ASA to listing on the SMB List, and approved an application for membership by E*TRADE Bank Danmark A/S.

HKEx: Scheme Will Enable Stock Exchange Participants To Increase Throttle Rate Of Open Gateways To AMS/3

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited's (HKEx) Board of Directors has approved a scheme that will enable Stock Exchange Participants (EPs) to increase the order throughput or throttle rate of their Open Gateways (OGs) to AMS/3, the Third Generation Automatic Order Matching and Execution System, on a user-pays basis. EPs will also be able install additional OGs at their own cost. At present EPs are limited to one OG per trading right, and an OG throttle rate of one order per second.
