TSX Remembers Victims Of September 11th

On Wednesday, September 11th, 2002 the TSX Group will hold a remembrance ceremony in Stock Market Place to remember all who died following the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington last year. NYSE Opening Bell On 9/11 To Follow Memorial Service

On Sept. 11, the New York Stock Exchange will open for trading 30 minutes after the conclusion of the memorial service being held at the World Trade Center site, but not before 11 a.m. Should the event last longer than its anticipated 10:29 a.m. conclusion, the NYSE will delay its opening beyond 11 a.m. The Exchange will announce the exact timing of the opening bell following conclusion of the memorial service.

NYBOT Announces Revised September 11th Trading Schedule

The New York Board of Trade (NYBOT®) announced today that the September 11th trading schedule has been revised to reflect a 10:38 a.m. opening call for the Sugar No. 14 Contract.
