MDEX Announces Eligible MGS For FMG5 December 2002 Contract

The Malaysia Derivatives Exchange Berhad (MDEX) would like to announce eligible Malaysian Government Securities (MGS) for the December 2002 contract of MGS futures contract (FMG5). This contract expires on 18 December 2002.

Kosdaq Stock Market: Regular Review Of Kosdaq Indices

The Kosdaq Index Committee confirms that 15 companies will be replaced in Kosdaq 50 as a result of its regular review. Among the 15 companies to be added to the index, 11 were listed after August of 2001.

Island Shareholders Approve Merger With Instinet

Island ECN today announced that its shareholders have voted to approve the proposed merger with Instinet Group Incorporated (Nasdaq: INET) at a special shareholders meeting held in New York City today. The merger received the necessary majority votes for approval with approximately 85% of the votes cast by Island shareholders in favor of the merger.

International Petroleum Exchange To Commemorate Tragedy Of September 11

The International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), Europe's leading energy futures and options exchange, will observe two minutes silence at 1.46 pm in London (8.46 am New York) on Wednesday September 11th to honour the victims of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The IPE is observing this silence to remember and reflect on the anniversary of this tragic event. Markets will remain open for normal business during the remainder of the day.
