Russian Trading System Bonds: Weekly Market Information

For the week of July 29th - August 2nd, trading volume in the RTS Bonds, the system facilitating trading of corporate, government, municipal debt, and Eurobonds, increased 4.2 times to 2 332 thousand dollars, up from 551 thousand dollars the previous week. The number of trades doubled, from 10 to 20.

For the week of July 29th - August 2nd, 2002, the total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) reached 541 thousand contracts or 1 769 million rubles in underlying value. 12 808 trades were executed. The previous week showed 13 770 trades and 529 thousand contracts with an underlying value of 1 831 million rubles.

Extension Of NextTrack To Euronext Brussels

Euronext announces the extension of its dedicated tracker product segment, NextTrack, to Euronext Brussels on 2 October 2002. From that date onward, the BEL20â MASTER UNIT, issued by Lyxor Asset Management, will be listed via Euronext Brussels and continuously traded on Euronext's single trading platform NSC.

Euronext Amsterdam: Announcement Regarding Listing Measure Imposed On Versatel

On 30 September 2002, Versatel published a prospectus which revealed that the company will have sufficient shareholders equity on 9 October to comply with the criteria governing admission to Euronext Amsterdam's official market.
