    Today marked the commencement of trading on the SWX Swiss Exchange of yet another exchange-traded fund, this one involving FRESCO index shares. The FRESCO SMI® is a registered investment fund under Swiss law. The initiator and asset manager of the fund is UBS Global Asset Management. FRESCOs are listed and publicly traded in the Exchange Traded Funds segment of SWX, which currently comprises 19 different exchange-traded funds.

    Turnover The total turnover on all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) in November 2003 amounted to SIT 31.0 billion, which was 4.24% less than the previous month, and 14.4% more than this year’s monthly average. In comparison to November 2002, turnover decreased by 23.2%, or by SIT 9.3 billion.
