The Korea Stock Exchange Enhances Its Electronic Corporate Disclosure System

In a bid to cope with ever-increasing flow and use of corporate information after the introduction of the integrated disclosure and fair disclosure system, the Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) has upgraded the Korea Investors Network for Disclosure (KIND) System, its electronic disclosure system.

Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) today announced that its Nikkei 225 Stock Index Futures Contract traded a daily record volume of 144,289 contracts on 11 June 2003, surpassing its previous record of 128,910 contracts set on 12 March 2003.

SEC Sues Former Dynegy Employees For Fraud

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed securities fraud charges against three former employees of Dynegy Inc. in connection with their roles in Dynegy's Project Alpha, a $300 million financing transaction that disguised the company's true financial condition. The shares for MidCap+ and SmallCap+ have now been selected in connection with the first ordinary review. The new MidCap+ and SmallCap+ portfolios will be effective from I July to the turn of the year 2003/2004. A total of 51 shares (50 companies) have qualified for the segments as against 50 shares (49 companies) in connection with the selection in March.
