Euronext Brussels: BEL20® Monthly Selection List

Based upon the figures until the end of January 2003, the Market Authority of Euronext Brussels communicates the new monthly selection list. This list is valid for replacements that would occur from Monday 17 February up to and including Friday 14 March 2003 after trading hours. Euronext 2002 Full Year Revenues Reached EUR996.5 Million

Despite the difficult market conditions, Euronext NV achieves good revenue growth for the year 2002, with total revenues of 996.5 million Euros, up year on year by 6.4 %. Revenues are in line with the forecast given by the company. This strong performance is due to ongoing strong volumes both in cash and derivatives markets. This achievement has to be highlighted: as Euronext didn't increase its fees. On the contrary, it suppressed some technical fees and granted rebates linked to cash migration

CME E-Mini Russell 2000® Futures Set Open Interest Records, Surpassing 30,000 Mark

For 11 consecutive sessions, open interest in E-mini™ Russell 2000 futures traded on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) have set new records, surpassing the 30,000 mark for the first time on Feb. 11, and reaching 32,643 yesterday. In addition, trading volume in E-mini Russell 2000 futures set a record Feb. 11 at 12,439 contracts, exceeding the previous record of 11,256 contracts set on Jan. 28.

CBOT® Rough Rice Futures Contract Reaches Open Interest Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) today announced a new daily open interest record was set in the Rough Rice futures contract with 10,083 contracts outstanding on February 5, 2003.

UK's Financial Services Authority Clarifies Standards For Investment Research And New Securities Issues

The FSA has today announced plans to clarify the standards which they expect investment banks to meet when publishing investment research and in the new issues of securities. Investment banks must properly manage conflicts of interests if there is to be confidence in the objectivity of investment research and the integrity of the capital raising process.

Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange Trading Starts 15 Minutes Earlier On 14 February 2003

TIFFE announced that trading for all contracts starts at 8:45am(JST) on 14 February 2002, responding to the release of a GDP figure at 8:50am. Normal trading starts at 9:00am on TIFFE, but trading starts 15 minutes earlier at 8:45am on the announcement days of BOJ's TANKAN report, BOJ's Outlook and Risk Assessment of the Economy and Prices, a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production and a GDP figure.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index: After the close of trading on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, the trading symbol for Nova Growth Corp. will change from "YVA" to "YN." There is no change in the name of the company. The shares will be consolidated on a 1-for-10 basis and the new number of shares issued and outstanding will be 3,716,438 (no escrow). The new CUSIP number will be 669952 30 1.
