  • Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, February 11, 2005: Unisphere Waste Conversion Ltd. (TSXVN: UCB) will be removed from the index due to a failure to meet Exchange Requirements. Athlone Minerals Ltd. (TSXVN: ATH) has changed its name to Athlone Energy Ltd. There is no consolidation of capital.

  • Share Changes In The S&P/ASX 50 Index

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Wednesday February 16th 2005: Mirvac Group (Australia, SEDOL: 6161978, GICS Code:40401010) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares to 821,713,065. The Investible Weight Factor (IWF) will remain unchanged. This change is due a Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

  • Organizational Changes Within OMX Exchanges

    As a step in OMX’s combination with the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, a new organization is being established within the OMX Exchanges division. The new organization will come into effect on April 1, 2005.

  • Nymex To Launch Brent Calendar Swap And Light, Sweet Crude Oil/Brent Calendar Swap Futures Contracts

    The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will introduce financially settled NYMEX Brent crude oil calendar swap futures and light, sweet crude oil/NYMEX Brent crude oil spread calendar swap futures contracts on its NYMEX ClearPortsm electronic trading and clearing platform beginning on February 13 for the February 14 trading session.
