Changes In Rules Of Baltic Stock Exchanges' Indices

As a part of the integration of the Nordic and Baltic securities market, the Baltic stock exchanges will adopt the NOREX index rules as from July 1, 2005. The current rules of calculating BALTIX, RIGSE, TALSE and VILSE will be affected.

Changes In Most Traded And ATTRACT40 Segments At Stockholm Stock Exchange

The Stockholm Stock Exchange’s Most Traded and ATTRACT40™ segments will be updated as of July 1, 2005. On the Most Traded segment of the A List, two companies are being removed. The O List segment, ATTRACT40, will feature 18 new companies, while 11 will be removed from the segment.

American Stock Exchange Reports Decrease In Short Interest

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 823,967,718 shares as of the June 15, 2005 settlement date, an decrease of 45,039,834 from the 869,007,552 (adjusted) shares reported in mid-May. The June figure represents trades through June 10, 2005.

Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange: Israel Opportunity 2005 Conference For International Investors In London

The TASE’s annual conference for investment managers at international funds that invest in Israel will be held in London this year, in July 7, 2005. This is the fourth time the TASE has held the annual event in London, as part of its activity aimed at encouraging foreign investments in Israel. This year’s conference will be held in collaboration with the Israeli embassy in London and Deutsche Bank.

The SWX Swiss Exchange has issued a reprimand with publication against CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG ("CPH") for negligent violation of the provisions regarding ad-hoc publicity. The reprimand was issued in relation to the company's failure to publish annual figures for 2004 simultaneously during trading hours, as well as its failure to notify SWX in advance.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes effective after the close of business on Tuesday, June 21, 2005: On June 20, 2005, the unitholders of APF Energy Trust (TSX:AY.UN) approved the combination of the trust with StarPoint Energy Trust (TSX:SPN.UN). APF Energy Trust will be removed from the S&P/TSX Capped Income Trust and Capped Energy Trust indices.
