NASDAQ Announces Management Changes In Transactions

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ"; OTCBB: NDAQ), today announced management changes in its Transactions Services unit. Glen Wolyner, executive vice president, will be leaving the firm to pursue other business opportunities. Chris Concannon, executive vice president, head of strategy, has been appointed head of NASDAQ Transactions Services. Adena Friedman, executive vice president, NASDAQ Data Services, will assume additional responsibility as head of corporate strategy.

Jukka Ruuska Elected Vice President Of The Federation of European Securities Exchanges

Jukka Ruuska, deputy CEO of OMHEX and President of HEX Integrated Markets, has been elected vice President of FESE, The Federation of European Securities Exchanges, at their annual General Assembly today in Amsterdam. FESE is the association of regulated securities and derivatives markets in Europe and incorporates EACH, the European Association of Clearing Houses.

Federation Of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) Holds General Assembly In Amsterdam (31st October 2003) - Massimo Capuano Of Borsa Italiana Elected New FESE President And Jukka Ruuska Of HEX Integrated Markets New FESE Vice President

The General Assembly of all Full and Associate Members met under the chairmanship of outgoing FESE President George Möller, COO of Euronext N.V. The Assembly voted unanimously to elect Massimo Capuano, President and CEO of Borsa Italiana in Milan as the new FESE President for the statutory term of two years. At the same time, Jukka Ruuska, President of HEX Integrated Markets and Deputy CEO of OMHEX was elected Vice President. Both will assume their office as per 1st January, 2004.
