November 2003 - Euronext Key Indicators - 630,000 Transactions In Cash Daily In November, Up 9% YOY And In The YTD - Short-Term Interest Rate Products Up 42% YTD

Cash products 12.6 million transactions were registered on Euronext cash markets in November, a daily average of almost 630,000 up 9% year-on-year and in the year-to-date. The total of 138 million transactions completed in the year-to-date also grew by almost 9% compared to the same period last year.

For the week of November 24th - November 28th, 2003, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) reached 906 thousand contracts and 6 326 million rubles, compared with 966 thousand contracts and 6 233 million rubles the week before. Total open interest as of November 28th, 2003, equaled 4 738 million rubles and 737 thousand contracts (as of November 14th, 2003, the numbers were 4 185 million rubles and 652 thousand contracts).

Eurex Turns Over 74.5 Million Contracts In November - 949 Million Contracts Traded And Cleared In 2003 - 27 Percent Increase, Year On Year - Eurex Bonds Shows 37 Percent Growth

Eurex, the international derivatives market, traded and cleared 74.5 million contracts in November. Eurex market participants connected to Eurex worldwide from over 700 locations have turned over a total of 949 million contracts in 2003 to date, a 27 percent increase over the previous year's January to November volume and/or 202 million contracts higher, year on year.

Deutsche Börse: 269 Billion Euros In Turnover On The German Stock Exchanges In November

The aggregate turnover statistics show that a total volume of 269.9 billion euros was traded on the German stock exchanges in November 2003 - about five percent higher than the previous year's level in monthly turnover (November 2002: 257.3 billion euros). The total comprises 216 billion euros in equities, warrants and exchange-traded funds as well as 53.9 billion euros in fixed-income securities.
