NYSE Further Amends Proposed Constitution: Individual Investors To Be Represented On Board Of Executives

In a memorandum to New York Stock Exchange members, Interim Chairman and CEO John S. Reed said the Exchange's board of directors yesterday approved further amendments in the new constitution that is pending review by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

MICEX: The First Issue Of Information And Analytical Journal "Exchange Review" Has Appeared In Print

The new publication comes out every month as a supplementary to "Securities Market" journal with circulation of 10 000.

Meeting Of the Board Of Oslo Børs On 25 November

At it´s meeting 25 November, the Board of Oslo Børs resolved to impose a violation charge on Hands ASA equivalent to three times the company´s annual listing fee, for a breach of the obligation to prepare a prospectus in accordance with the company´s share issue in May 2003.

Korea Stock Exchange: Introduction Of Korea Corporate Governance Stock Price Index (KOGI)

The Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) will compute and publish the Korea Corporate Governance Stock Price Index (KOGI) from December 1, 2003 in a bid to promote investors¡¯ interest in corporate governance and encourage listed companies to improve their corporate governance. The KOGI consists of 50 stocks with good corporate governance.

European Commission: Results Of Council Of Economics And Finance Ministers, Brussels, 25, November 2003 - Financial Services And Taxation - Proposed Directive On Transparency Requirements

The Council agreed on a general approach on the European Commission's proposal for a Directive introducing minimum transparency requirements for information which must be provided by companies whose securities are traded on a regulated market, such as a stock exchange (see IP/03/436 and MEMO/03/68).
