CBOT Mini-Sized Gold Futures Contracts Set Daily Volume Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced a new daily volume record for mini-sized Gold futures with 2,344 contracts traded on November 25, 2003, breaking the previous record of 2,312 contracts traded November 17, 2003.

Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange - Rollover Of Three-Month Euroyen Futures Leading Contract Month - Leading Contract Month Will Be September 2004 From November 21, 2003

On both November 21 and 25, the Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (TIFFE) saw the trading volume of the current leading contract month of Three-month Euroyen Futures -June 2004- being exceeded by the next contract month -September 2004-, which marked the highest volume on both trading days among all Euroyen futures. Stock Exchange of Thailand To Launch Debenture Trading On Nov.26 - 21 Debentures Launched In First Trade

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will commence the trading of 21 debentures, issued by six listed companies, thus providing another alternative to investors as well as offering firms with another fundraising channel in addition to equity instruments. The clearing and settlement process will be completed at T+2. An additional 30 debentures are expected to be listed in the first half of 2004.

SEC Charges Security Trust Company, N.A. And Three Former Executives For Facilitating Fraudulent Mutual Fund Late Trading And Market Timing Schemes

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced civil fraud charges against Phoenix, Arizona-based Security Trust Company, N.A. (STC) and its former chief executive officer, president, and senior vice president, for facilitating and participating in fraudulent mutual fund late trading and market timing schemes by a group of related hedge funds.

Philadelphia Stock Exchange Members Vote To Demutualize

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Inc. (PHLX), announced today that the Exchange's Members voted overwhelmingly today to approve the plan to demutualize. The uncertified totals show demutualization passing by a vote of 301 to 71, a margin of 81% to 19%. 379 of the 437 Members eligible to vote cast a ballot, seven of which were invalid.
