The annual industry survey conducted by the widely read ‘Global Investor’ magazine has rated Clearsteam as the best international central securities depository (ICSD). The magazine conducts an annual review of custody and sub-custody providers across Europe and has for the first time included an assessment of ICSDs.

The international derivatives market Eurex has closed out 2004 with a record volume of 1.07 billion contracts (2003: 1.014 billion contracts), thus remaining the world’s largest derivatives exchange. The Borsa Italiana Group Will Observe Three Minutes Of Silence On January 5 To Commemorate The Victims Of The Tsunami Disaster

Borsa Italiana, CC&G (Cassa di Compensazione e Garanzia), Monte Titoli as well as the other Borsa Italiana Group subsidiaries will join the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) members to commemorate the victims of the countries affected by the tsunami disaster on 26 December 2005 by observing three minutes of silence at 12.00 (CET) on January, 5.
