Stock Exchange Of Thailand: MAI Reveals Master Ad's Q-1 Earnings Report Topped The List With B30 mln - Profits, Up Nearly 200%

Listed firms on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) have released their Q1/2004 earnings reports, in which Master Ad (MACO), Thai Mitsuwa (TMW) and Matching Studio (MATCH) topped the list, with a 186% rise in profits for Master Ad (MACO) and a 204% profit rise for Thai Mitsuwa (TMW). The top3 firms with highest dividend payouts are RK Media (RK), Pico Thailand (PICO) and International Research Corporation (IRCP).

Standard & Poor’s Announces Quarterly Rebalancing For The S&P ADR Indices

Solarworld Replaces Debitel In NEMAX 50 Index - Free Float Of Debitel Below 5 Percent

Effective Friday, Solarworld will be included in the NEMAX 50® index as part of an unscheduled amendment to its composition. The company’s stock will replace that of Debitel. Debitel’s free float is below 5 percent and therefore no longer meets the criteria for the index. The NEMAX 50 Index will be calculated until the end of 2004.

Pacific Exchange Names Head of Equities Regulation

The Pacific Exchange (PCX) today named James J.Draddy, Jr., Vice President, Equities Regulation. Draddy, 44, will be responsible for the Exchange's regulation of the Archipelago Exchange, including all surveillance and compliance functions, and will manage the PCX regulatory staff in Chicago and New York.

Merri Jo Gillette Named Regional Director Of The SEC's Midwest Regional Office

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today the selection of Merri Jo Gillette as Regional Director of the Commission's Midwest Regional Office (MRO). Ms. Gillette will oversee both enforcement and examination programs within the MRO's jurisdiction, which is comprised of nine states. She is expected to assume her new post in late June. Ms. Gillette succeeds Mary Keefe, the former Regional Director, who has taken a position in the private sector.
