    STOXX Limited today announced the results of the regular annual review of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, Dow Jones STOXX 50 and Dow Jones Nordic 30 blue chip indexes. The changes will be effective on September 20, 2004.

  • Share Changes In The S&P/ASX 50 Index

    Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Tuesday September 7th, 2004: Stockland (Australia, SEDOL: 6850856, GICS Code: 40101010) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares by 25,587,391 to 1,291,217,391. This change is due to a dividend reinvestment plan. There is no change to the IWF.

    OneChicago, LLC today announced that 69,880 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in August. Year-to-date volume is 1,172,998 contracts, 33% greater than 2003 volume January through August. Open interest stood at 135,620 contracts August 31.

    New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported second-quarter 2004 after-tax profits of $1.13 billion and revenues of $36.07 billion, compared to $3.54 billion in after-tax profits on revenues of $39.52 billion in second-quarter 2003.   • NQLX To De-list Security Futures Products - Retains Designated Contract Market Status

    NQLX announces that it will suspend trading in all of its security futures products in an orderly fashion and consistent with its market obligations. The Exchange will aim to suspend trading following the expiry of the December 2004 contracts on December 17, 2004. The Exchange will continue to retain its Designated Contract Market (DCM) status.
