Dow Jones Indexes To License Islamic Market Index As Underlying For First Islamic Exchange-Traded Fund

Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced that it has licensed its Dow Jones Islamic Market Turkey Index to Family Finans House—the largest, noninterest banking service in Turkey—as the underlying for an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The ETF based on the index is expected to be launched on the Istanbul Stock Exchange later this year, pending regulatory approval of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.

On November 8, 2005, two major events will make the news: For the first time, Wiener Börse is organizing an investor conference together with its new cooperation partner, Deutsche Bank. Also for the first time, a conference will take place in Frankfurt, the center of the German financial market, following stops at already established destinations like London, Zurich and Paris.
