ICE Futures Extends Contract Months For WTI Crude And Brent Crude Futures Contracts To Six Years

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), the leading electronic energy marketplace, announced today that effective this Friday, February 24, trading in ICE Futures’ WTI and Brent Crude futures contracts will be extended to offer six years of contract months to meet the demand for additional contract months.

Four Current Or Former KPMG Partners Settle SEC Litigation Relating To Xerox Audits - Three Partners Agree To Permanent Injunctions, Record Penalties And SEC Suspensions; Fourth Partner Agrees To SEC Censure

The Commission today announced that all four remaining defendants in an action brought against them and KPMG LLP by the agency in connection with a $1.2 billion fraudulent earnings manipulation scheme by the Xerox Corporation from 1997 through 2000 have agreed to settle the charges against them. Three partners agreed to permanent injunctions, payment of record civil penalties and suspensions from practice before the Commission with rights to reapply in from one to three years. Monthly review of developmentsOn the last trading session of January 2006 the General Price Index of the Main and Parallel Market reached 2.147,17 points, representing a relative increase of 25,95 %. The value of shares traded also exhibited an increase of 82,15 % compared to the previous month. The Copenhagen Stock Exchange assesses that the stipulated right of redemption proposed to be inserted in TDC A/S’s articles of association is not in conflict with Danish stock exchange law. The protection of minority shareholders in the event of compulsory redemption is a question governed by Danish company law which must be solved based on the Danish Companies Act. It is not within the Copenhagen Stock Exchange’s authority to make a decision in this matter.
